Installation Steps
(1) When the load-bearing beam is located beneath the machine room floor slab, it is generally necessary to construct a reinforced concrete base approximately 30 mm larger than the traction machine's chassis and 250 to 300 mm in thickness. Bolts for securing the traction machine must be pre-embedded within this base. A vibration-damping rubber pad should be placed beneath the concrete base-specifically, atop the load-bearing beam-and the traction machine should then be securely fastened to the concrete base.
The concrete base and the traction machine are secured together using clamping plates and stopper plates.
(2) When the load-bearing beam is located above the machine room floor slab, the steel base of the traction machine's chassis may be bolted directly to the load-bearing beam to form a single integrated unit. If vibration damping is required, a dedicated vibration-damping assembly should be fabricated. The specific method involves creating two steel plates of the same dimensions as the traction machine's base, each approximately 20 mm thick, and placing a vibration-damping rubber pad between them. The upper steel plate is bolted to the traction machine, while the lower steel plate is welded to the load-bearing beam. To prevent displacement, clamping plates and stopper plates must also be installed to secure the upper steel plate and the traction machine chassis.
(3) When the load-bearing beam is situated on a reinforced concrete platform within the machine room-raised 600 mm above the machine room floor slab-stopper plates and vibration-damping rubber pads should be placed atop the platform, and the upper and lower connecting steel plates should be installed. The traction machine is then secured to the steel plates and positioned using clamping plates and stopper plates.
(4) Alignment of the Traction Sheave Installation Position: Secure a horizontal reference wire above the traction machine. Suspend two plumb lines from this horizontal wire, aligning them with the center points of the car frame and the counterweight, respectively (as marked on the floor planking). Next, calculate the pitch circle diameter of the traction sheave based on the centerlines of the traction ropes; then, suspend a third plumb line from the horizontal reference wire at the corresponding calculated position. Finally, use these reference lines to align and adjust the position of the traction machine.
Technical Requirements for Installation
(1) Traction Sheave Positional Deviation: In the fore-and-aft direction (towards the counterweight), the deviation shall not exceed ±2 mm; in the left-and-right direction, it shall not exceed ±1 mm.
(2) The plumbness error of the traction sheave shall not exceed 2.0 mm.
(3) The parallelism error between the traction sheave and the guide sheave or diverting sheave shall not exceed ±1 mm.
